How Highway works

Sellers

• Pick your state (Texas at launch), enter your plate and mileage.
• Add photos, mark damage, declare mods and mechanical issues.
• Approve a confidential reserve — dealers never see it.
• Your car enters the next auction. Selling costs you $0.

The auction (Central Time)

• Opens weekdays at 5 PM CT.
• Locks the next business day at 8 AM CT — bids can no longer be withdrawn.
• Closes at 3 PM CT. Friday auctions roll to Monday.

Dealers

• Only admin-approved dealers can view cars and bid.
• Bids are sealed maximums: nobody sees competing bids or the reserve.
• The winner pays one increment over the next-highest bid, never below the reserve.

Highway never buys, titles, stores or transports cars, and never holds purchase money. Seller and dealer complete the sale directly.

Texas only: Highway is live in Texas only. More states will open one at a time as we expand.
